Half Day Courses

Glass Fusing Course

Learn how to fuse (melt) coloured glass to create unique gifts and artworks. At the end of four hours you will have learned a bit about glass and crafted a multitude of items, such as a decorative tile, earrings, pendants, cufflinks and handmade cards.


Make a Dish in a Day Course

During this exciting class you will learn the secrets of melting and shaping glass with heat. In just one day you will design and craft a beautiful handcrafted dish in coloured glass.

Details

Date: By arrangement
Typical hours: 10am to 2pm

Group size: 1–3 students (arranged by you)

Locations: Hackney, East London, and Five Ashes, East Sussex

Experience: No previous experience is required

Age: Minimum of 18 years old

 

Cost

One-to-one: £200 per person, 2 students £145 each, 3 students £125 each. Prices include tuition, glass and refreshments.

All the pieces you create during the course will be fired in the kiln over the following week. The finished work can then be collected by you or posted to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery (within the UK). The charge for packing and posting your work will be £10 for one person, or £25 for all student's work to be sent to a single address.

Please note: 1. Your place will not be securd until payment has been received; 2. A cancellation charge of 50% wll be applied 2–13 days prior to the course, and 100% with less than 48 hours notice.
